a poolside, boutique-styled welcome party for our wedding editorial bride & groom. This affair is to compliment the authenticness of a real wedding weekend. It plays a part in creating & capturing a couples love story.
an add on engagement session in downtown CHARLESTON to occur the evening on check out during golden hour. This session will include a seperate set of models & design.

THE VENUE
The Ocean Course is an iconic venue located on Kiawah Island outside of Charleston, SC. You'll find sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean paired with a nantucket, coastal vibe that Lowcountry couples can’t help but swoon over.

SAILCLOTH TENT EDITORIAL
A fully designed wedding editorial created to mimic the details of a real wedding celebration!
This affair will include a large sailcloth tented reception with a full-scale ceremony designed around elaborate florals, an interactive cocktail hour, a diverse couple as our bride & groom complimented with a small bridal party, multiple curated details + flat lays, and other elements to complete the design.
This wedding day editorial will begin with a flat lay class led by your host, Katherine. Then onto getting ready robe photos with the bride & her bridesmaids. Afterwards, we'll head to the Ocean Course to begin bride & groom first look, ceremony, bridal party photos, cocktail hour, reception, sunset bride & groom portraits, reception and newlywed send off. You'll finish the day with a full wedding day worth of genuine, guests filled content! Throughout this wedding day, you'll also get to experience the guest side of things during ceremony, cocktail hour and catered welcome dinner under the tent at sunset.
POOLSIDE WELCOME PARTY
An interactive oasis-styled welcome party will take place poolside and one of Charleston's quaint venue.
This fun afternoon will be a casually styled welcome party with details that tie into our Ocean Course wedding day. Our couple modeling at the Ocean Course will also be our couple for the welcome party so that you can create a full visual story of a wedding weekend with your bride & groom!
The design will be focused on tropical colors with a mediterranean flair poolside with colorfully dressed guests. Our couple will take a plunge into the pool for couple portraits after being welcomed by their closet family & friends. The party will kick off with waiters serving shucked oysters and bartenders passing signature drinks.
After shooting this editorial, we will finish the evening with our own catered poolside dinner!

To conclude our retreat, you'll have the opportunity to capture an additional golden hour engagement session in downtown Charleston featuring a vintage car and uniquely styled couple, separate from our other two editorials. Locations will include various charming spots downtown from cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and iconic views.
This 2 hour auxiliary shoot will only be available to retreat attendees for an
investment of $350.

Welcome Home! This home is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Upper King district of downtown Charleston, and yes there is parking!
We love sharing accommodations with each other as it is a great way to foster a sense of community and connect with like-minded photographers. All rooms include a king size bed and bathroom.
We can't wait to kick off this retreat with an attendee favorite, our
catered welcome dinner.
